About me & my work

I’m a Minneapolis-based writer and editorial strategist specializing in emerging technology. Over the past decade, I’ve worked in digital media, journalism, and branded content, running edtech and executive education projects for Cambridge, Imperial College London, MIT, and the University of Oxford. I’ve always loved the combination of interesting people, ideas about the future, and digital technology, and I’m lucky my job as a writer and editor lets me combine all three.

I grew up in a small town in rural Minnesota (Red Wing, MN), but when I was eighteen, I moved across the world to Senegal, where I taught English to a class of eighth graders, ran the local English Club, and learned the local language. Since then, I’ve lived on five continents and counting, worked with a wide range of technology, education, and fintech companies, and written about everything from financial inclusion to data and disinformation.

I typically work on an hourly or project basis for companies or startups working in education, technology, or finance, but I’m always open to advising pro bono on projects if they’re related to AI literacy or women’s leadership.
